Since the beginning of August, due to the influence of the super typhoon "Makar" and continuous rainfall, severe floods have occurred in many parts of Thailand. 27 provinces in Thailand have been affected, including 13 provinces in the north such as Chiang Mai and Chiang Rai, 5 provinces in central Bangkok and its surrounding areas, and 8 provinces in the south such as Phuket and Yala, all of which have caused varying degrees of casualties and property losses. The Thai government and relevant rescue units are fully engaged in search and rescue and relief work, and strive to help the affected people overcome the difficulties. The disaster has also touched the hearts of overseas Chinese in Thailand, and they have extended a helping hand and contributed to the disaster relief.

After learning about this, the Jiangsu Chamber of Commerce in Thailand actively responded to the call of Dr. Manus Nonuch, Honorary Advisor of our Chamber, Chairman of the Royal Social Welfare Committee of Thailand and Miracle of Life Fund, to donate money and materials to the victims in the disaster-stricken areas. We immediately mobilized members of our Chamber of Commerce to raise funds. The members responded actively and raised a total of 160,000 baht. The Executive President Sun Jingshu handed over the foundation and on August 28We flew to the disaster relief efforts and, together with the Royal Thai Social Welfare Committee and others, donated money and supplies to the disaster-stricken areas and victims to contribute our efforts.

     On behalf of the disaster victims, the Thai Life Miracle Foundation would like to thank the Jiangsu Chamber of Commerce in Thailand: Zhang Bin, Qiu Ye, Sun Jingshu, Huang Changlin, Wan Jinglong, Jiang Dong, Zhang Lei, Yu Zhongjun, Wu Xu (Infinite Green Energy), Sun Weihao, Wang Baogen, Zuo Changcheng, Yuan Tongfu, Wang Jianqiang, Sun Xiyi and others for their kind donations.

     Under the leadership of President Zhang Bin, the Jiangsu Chamber of Commerce in Thailand has demonstrated the "China-Thailand family" through practical actions. The floods are ruthless, but the people are kind. We hope that the people affected by the floods in Thailand can resume their normal lives and rebuild their beautiful homes as soon as possible.
