Gong 8 semi submersible vessel successfully entered the construction site

The heavy equipment and 8-half submersible barge used in the Thailand Matapu Phase III breakwater project undertaken by China Thailand Transportation Construction Co., Ltd. successfully entered the construction site at 12:00 noon on May 29th, officially entering the construction phase. The breakwater is 650 meters long and consists of 25 3600 ton concrete caissons arranged in rows. The Gong 8 semi submersible barge is used to prefabricate two 3600 ton caissons simultaneously and transport them to the designated area for installation.
